What’s the difference between Cleaning, Sanitizing & Disinfecting?

Cleaning refers to organizing and wiping down hard surfaces so that they appear neat and spotless. The goal of cleaning is about the look and feel.
Cleaning by itself won’t kill germs like bacteria, viruses, or fungi.

Sanitizing aims to reduce the amount of contamination present on a surface by killing germs. Sanitizing is necessary for surfaces that come in contact with food, making surfaces safe to touch.

Disinfecting kills more germs than sanitizing. A quality disinfectant spray  removes 100% of the microscopic organisms and stops the spread of diseases and viruses.
